Hello…wanted to give you background and a small but HUGE success story with your one hip flexor exercise.
These numbers might be hard to believe…but they are true. I ‘m 5’7″ tall. When I was younger I had a 44″ vertical and run 4.3 40 yd dash. I’ve been as high as 48″ off of one foot.
I then rolled my ankle really bad, for the next 2.5 years couldn’t run or jump, NBA doctor misdiagnosed injury, had an ankle surgery that I did not need.
My leg muscles weren’t responding to my workouts. 6 years later a chiropractor convinced me to get inserts in my shoes. I went to the bottom real fast.
Couldn’t jump at all…running and walking were painful.
This went on for 3 years, many doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapist’s couldn’t help me. I was spending about $3000 a year in treatments that didn’t work.
Then I found a guy in Mesa, AZ that has an incredible rehab machine, and within 3 visits, my leg muscles were working like they were supposed to do.
On the road to recovery, but still no improvement in athletic performance, yet…
I was running again, not much jumping. I really did not have any speed when I was running. I could leg press 1140 lbs 8 times, and then walk right over to the leg extension machine and lift 305 lbs 17 reps on my 4 and 5th set! BUT…. I did not regain my speed or quickness or my hops.
Pain, but no Gain, until using Athletic Quickness’s Hip Flexor Exercise
For the past year I was also doing isometrics. Wall squats, hamstring curls, hip flexor exercises, and lunges.
My legs got stronger, and felt great…but no speed, quickness or hops. I saw your ad on the web, saw the ONE exercise, standing hip flexor exercise. (I had been doing that same exercise for 4 years, without the band, and all I got was stronger during the exercise but I did not see any improvement in my performance).
I used a band at the gym, did the exercise 4 times in 3 weeks. Just after my 4th workout with the band I ran some sprints on the basketball court and I had a HUGE improvement in my speed and quickness!! Felt a little like I had drunk legs…a little wobbly, but way faster!!
Springs off the floor at age 44!
Then I did a jump shot…and I SPRUNG off of the floor!! I have not timed myself at any distance…or measured my jump.
I’ve been around 25″ for my vertical the past two years so I’ll see how much higher I can get. I’m going to order the jumping routine from you shortly and I really believe this is the ONLY way to restore my speed and jumping ability that I used to have.
Just wanted to let you know what I’ve experienced in the past month…doing just ONE hip flexor exercise!
Thanks for figuring how to turn ON the fast twitch muscles!!!! I will let you know what happens, I believe that I will get my speed and hops back…and maybe I’ll run faster and jump higher than before.
Oh…by the way…I’m 44 years old.

Two Weeks Later…
It’s been just over 2 weeks, and I’m quicker and faster….that’s for sure. Not sure on the jumping, I will check tonight at practice. Might have improved an inch or so. My left leg was so “dead” after my injury that I might be expecting too much too soon.
It’s stronger…and able to handle me jumping off of it…just not sure if I’m any higher. I will let you know! I KNOW that sooner or later I WILL be jumping as high as I used to!
